Personal project
When I returned from a trip to Jordan, I decided to make a series of prints, engravings, and linocuts that would speak of my experience in that wonderful country. For this, I used experimental materials such as lemon juice, stones from the desert of Jordan, and Bedouin tea, among other things. I also played around with the way I printed things, the materials used, and the way I applied colour, so that the results would be different with each piece (as opposed to the original purpose of printmaking and engraving).
After choosing from more than 250 pieces, I compiled a book called Habibi ('my darling', in Arabic), which is divided in 7 chapters that show the most interesting results of these experimentations in the printmaking studio.
