The overarching story of Something Skies begins with the destruction of earth due to the accumulation of garbage. The people of earth went to space in seek of a new city, finding the something in the skies, building their lives and starting a new beginning. The primary text is about man speaking, the secondary about man speaking about Gods, and lastly the tertiary voice is God’s voice.
The first chapter starts with a landslide, in which each spread flows in a mini animation as the chinese characters start to fall.
The second chapter continues with type activated to the form of a shooting star, which turns yellow, and blends into the yellow background and it ends with the sky sprinkled with stars, created out of the chinese characters.
The third chapter speaks about the people building a new city.  Throughout the book, black bars are also used as dashes over certain words. There is also a hint of word-play in certain spreads.
The fourth chapter ends with a sunrise symbolising fresh new beginnings. Chinese lettering is again activated and slowly turn yellow to form the sun.
