DESCRIPTION
Nowadays Városmajor Park in Buda is overused: there are too many functions and the location of each function is uncleared. Therefore the values of the park are lost.
First we organized the park, determined the role of each areas – sport, recreation and cultural places. In our plan the stage is connected to the cultural zone.
With the design of the stage our main goal was to not separate it from the nature in the park. We elevate the waiting/community area, the buffet and the auditorium and put onto the roof, this way the controlled places are defined by level difference not walls or fences. The visitors are always surrounded by trees, noises, the view of the park, the milieu of the nature.
