Paris Underground

Working with light
every where there is light an image can be made.
I come from a small island where every one knows every one. It feels strange for me to roam around a big city feeling lonely with out seeing a familiar face. This was one of the things that made me think. Was it only me having that feeling or was every one conscious of the solitude present in such a densely populated area, a place were every one is so busy with his doings but constantly avoiding to make contact with the person beside them.
Every one seems to have a destination, a place to go to were he will finally  be amongst people he knows. A place were he can feel secure, with out the fear of eye contact with some unknown stranger.
No where was this feeling stronger then in the metro. A place which one second is full of people waiting for a train and empty the next as the train leaves towards the next station.

These last two frames I personally think that they captures the whole experience of life in the underground. Especially in the last frame were the people are getting on the train in a rush, just in time. The people at the station getting off and heading to their next train and the ones on the train waiting for the next stop. Then hidden away there are the parent and child. I would really appreciate your comment on these last two just to know which one works best for you.see
