This poster was created for a project during Design I, a class taken at Cedarville University in the spring of 2013. I was told to create a social awareness poster that would demand an individual's attention and then compel them to make a change somehow. The final dimensions of the poster are 18" by 24".
I chose to develop a poster that would shine a light on forced labor and how it affects thousands of individuals all around the world. The use of coffee as the main subject was chosen so as to resonate deeply with my target market, who drink coffee on a daily basis. All statistics used were found on www.fairtradeusa.org in the spring of 2013.
