Futura Typeface Posters

This was the second project in our Typography 01 class, and it focused on teaching us how to identify and classify fonts through their specific characteristics.  We started by learning basic names for parts of individual letters, and then we randomly drew out of a bag the font we were going to be working with.  I got the typeface "Futura" and have learned that it is a geometric sans serif font created by Paul Renner.  The first poster we had to create was a characteristic one where we had to present letters and highlight characteristics the letter had that were different or similar than any other font.  The second poster was all about content.  We had to research the history of the font and the designer, while maintaining similar colors and style as the first poster.
