Cutty Sark Whisky: Named after the historic ship, Cutty Sark is a blend that's been around since 1923. It has whisky from Glenrothes at its core along with whisky from all over Scotland to give a rounded blend with a little bit of smoke.

Cutty Sark Positions itself as a brand that lives and breathes city life. Originating in London, it broke the whisky drinking rules and brought a lighter taste and a lighter colour than what came before it, something completely different and made for experimenting with.

Unlike all other whisky brands, Cutty insists to not stick to the same drink every time, rather mix things up and serve something new. Cutty Sark wasn’t made for stuffy sipping like an old-style whisky, it was born to be mixed!

The brief: To find a way to create engaging social media posts to target the appropriate audience for Cutty Sark (for posting exclusively on Instagram but also easy to be sent across Whatsapp).


Solution: To create a new fun, energetic and experimental language that has instant recognition through the use of Vector illustrations. The posts would be only be in a short video format with the (Cutty) Yellow background. 
For the Indian market, it made sense to fully embrace the yellow of Cutty Sark to set the brand apart from it's contemporaries. Black, white and grey would be the only other accents used.

The language created for Cutty Sark is fresh, targeting a new kind of whisky drinker who loves to experiment and have a good time, in life or just with drinks.
