I design and illustrate each edition since the 8th Edition. Furthermore I conceived an editorial workflow that allows more than 16 authors to keep their writing up-to-date in a Wiki and automatically import their chapters into Adobe InDesign. From there the guide can be exported to both printed and digital formats, such as PDF, EPUB and MOBI, so that the readers can easily enjoy the guide's helpful contents on their preferred reading device.
With over 40.000 hardcopies distributed since 2009 and 12 editions, the Mobile Developer's Guide is one of my largest editorial projects.

The editorial workflow from wiki over XML to Adobe InDesign. I proposed a custom XML tag definition to match the style formatting in InDesign. A custom set of scripts further simplifies the import of the wiki content. In this way a 256-paged edition can be laid out in less than a day, since only minor visual corrections are necessary.
