Greg Marlow is a piano teacher in the San Gabriel Valley. He needed a website which will house his information and some photos. I created a one page website which presents all of his information in a non obtrusive and elegant way. Greg Marlow Piano can be seen live from this link.
The website just keeps scolling down. It's basically a one page website. I've also written a tutorial on how to do this from start to finish. Greg Marlowe's website is a combination of modern styles, typography, textures and good color schema. Background images and subtle effects give the page an overall elegant look.
Designing blocks of text elements was a challenge for Greg Marlowe, but was overcome by playing with the font sizes, type and placement. A custom build contact form along with validation makes the website usable and complete.
The whole page has a lot of functionality as well as aesthetics. The error messages (top of the page) are made to be friendly yet effective. The photo gallery has a lightbox effect once clicked. The footer was designed with some music elements tied in with a final slogan for the website.
