Cars nowadays are the pinnacle of design. It is not just about getting you from A to B anymore, it is about the experience you get while driving. From the way the steering wheel feels, to the sound the engine makes when you step on the gas.

For Mitsubishi we were asked to produce a sound design that reflects this experience through their whole range of SUV’s.

Sound concept
We created a soundtrack that conveys the same energy as the footage, edit and music. One way to do this is by making use of roaring engines, but the new Mitubishi PHEV is fully electric so that wasn’t an option. 

So instead we went for a different approach: we used different materials like gravel, snow and dirt to create a feeling of movement and speed.
