In the current global context, sustainable mobility in urban transportation seems to be gathering its focus on the energy issue, exploring both economical and environmental subjects. Although such idea may not be consensual, it is perceived by who’s been attentive towards progress in the automotive industry. Considering such matter, this is an investigation which will approach other solutions, focusing on current urban vehicle models and a space efficiency viewpoint.
It is intended for such questions to be answered with a project for a new vehicle that would come as a solution for problems raised during this investigation. The new project would also be part of a comparative study regarding other projects presented to the community or already in practice, so that its evaluation can be as thorough as possible.
It’s expected that both this investigation and the final project it produces can be an important contribution for the global society, the automotive industry, the scientific community, and the realization of its goals.
