The beautiful sights at the pier. I love how the locals unwind with some good old fishing at the pier. The leisurely wait for a catch while the city bustles around is a very soothing sight. I find this ability to wind down amidst chaos a very alluring sight. .
So I perched myself behind them on a stray bench. Praying that no creepy crawlies attack me😬. Since it was pitch dark where I sat.

Last night I was down in hood to get in a night sketch done. I was lost in my own world looking for a spot to sketch. .
I heard someone call out to me. I didn’t respond at first, then from the corner of my eye I saw a person clearly directing a Hey! towards me😊. I could not believe that this was the second time in a week another follower of mine walked up to me to convey how much he admired my art !!

After a lovely chat , I sat down for my sketch and saw the most picturesque moment at the pier. A couple clearly in too much love, with the beautiful night lights of the pier in the backdrop which almost looked like a romantic painting. .
I tried my best to capture the moment without creeping the couple out😬, but they were too lost in their love to observe a sketcher using them as a muse❤️

So the sketch started with the intention of capturing the view of the cluster of boats parked, from the Aberdeen promenade but slowly turned into a tragic rom-com as the night set in and a couple were also I guess calling it quits. .

This neighbourhood, especially around the pier is beautiful the entire day all around the year! How can I not capture it. With some lovely joints like @bistronomique2018 and @arabica.hk right by the pier, a lot of people use these spots to spice up their gram or relax after a long day. The view is perfect for either!
Went out night sketching after so long. The pier is a lovely place to catch some night views with the lit up buildings, relaxing people and calm waters settling in after a long day.
