The Stravinky's proposed marriage rite is seen from the perspective of the Mexican Mixtec family. By its embroidered textiles and their traditions. The household is seen synthetically.
The stage is surround by an amplification of the cell's structure, the basic unit, as the family is, and the costumes are made of Mexican embroidered textiles or influenced of them, making also a reproduction of Mexican decor of cut out paper that at the end is reproduced by the dancers with ropes.
Lighting design gathers this synthesis of the cell with the magnificence of the party in the Mixtec rite, "the people that lives in the clouds"
