Design Services for Good Natured people
That's Paul Webb DSGN ... see what I did there?
Do you know what the problem is with designing for other people? Sometimes, you are not able to think of really great ideas for yourself. I used to have that problem, until a few weeks ago.

Also paramount to this short story of an introduction : the fact that I am 100%, without a doubt, an awesome nerd. As such, I still have floppy diskettes and I let out a chuckle when I overload them with text files and PDF documents.

Now, we get to the end of the story. What does it all mean? What can I, as a self-proclaimed nerd *and* a designer create to tie these two worlds together?
Now, I thought this was pretty genius when I thought of it, of course, but allow me to break down my thought process. It is widely known amongst the creative professionals that the four major inks used in printing are cyan, magenta, yellow, and key (black), also known as CMYK (or, YMCK if you like Japanese chiptune music).

Four colors for the four major letters of my design name, Paul Webb DSGN.

Having all four of these colors intersect with each other creates many individual colors and thus, a rainbow is born. Having sketched the blueprint of my idea on graph paper before creating the vectors in Photoshop, I went back to the sketch and started to see possible outlines of alphabetical characters in my mind, using *only* the various shapes created through overlaying all four triangles.

I dub this typeface "Rainbow Fragments", and this is what I came up with :
Rainbow Fragments is very much a work in progress as I figure out if I want to add punctuation *and* if it is even possible to include other things with it, given the obvious constraint of only creating characters from the logo.

I also have a new design for my official portfolio in the works to go with this new logo and it is my sincerest hope that it is the last major design for awhile. I am taking my time with this one, to ensure everything I could ever need / want to do is available by default.

Anyhoo, I will end this with a couple of real-world uses for Rainbow Fragments.
When Rainbow Fragments is finished, it will be a free download and I plan on having an outline version, filled-in version, and maybe a stencil version ... stay tuned.
