Buena Lanes (Responsive Web Design)

Buena Lanes is the local bowling alley in Ventura, CA who wants to launch a brand new website that showcases everything the bowling center has to offer.

Objective:
• To design a responsive website for Buena Lanes customers
• To develop Buena Lanes branding in order properly reflect the business today.

This is a speculative project, and I am not affiliated with Buena Lanes
Persona
I took all my findings from the research phase in order to create this persona, Tyler. Throughout the rest of the project I used this persona in order to help me make sure that all my design decisions are focused on Buena Lane’s core users.
User Flow
After some brainstorming, I narrowed down and prioritized various features I would be including in website. Since every user is different I expanded upon my task flow and created this user flow that showcases 3 main flows.
Responsive Mid Fidelity Wireframes
I decided to create a responsive design in order to ensure that users are able to optimally view the website on any device. Here you see three devices. Desktop, tablet, and mobile. During this step I made sure to pay extra attention on the visual hierarchy, layout, and consistency of elements.
Revisions after Usability Testing
After doing a series of guerrilla testing with the public I was able to make the following changes.
- Add a drop down menu
- Add a view more icon
- Add a confirmation modal window
High Fidelity Wireframes
After making the appropriate changes after testing I then moved on to build out the rest of the design. Click Here to View Prototype
