On September 20, 2018, the World Poster Contest which called “Poster for_” was held. This is a new international poster competition organized by Shanning Wang, as part of his project and call for action, to show his attitude to the design of posters. According to the results of competition, the best works for participation in international exhibitions were presented. The main competition (Poster for climate change) and minor (Poster for a child, Poster for the protection of the ocean, Poster for education, Poster for water). I took a part in the main competition and took a prize place with theme: “The rhythm of climate change. Melting of the glaciers.” This poster was taken as a basis, and four more were developed in support.
In the process of work, has arisen an association that if the swamps are the lungs of our planet, then the glaciers are the heart. The image of the heart pulse loomed, which is getting quieter until it disappears, just like melting blocks of ice. The faster the melting of glaciers, the greater the changing climate of the Earth. Hence the name of the poster: "The rhythm of climate change."
The third theme of the poster revealed the problem of water pollution.
In the Internet resource there are many real photos of animals, fish and birds that have suffered because of the waste.
Therefore, in the poster I decided to demonstrate the evolution of the underwater world because of the garbage that gets there. The image in this topic was an evolutionary link from the egg to the modified fish, which is stuck in a plastic bottle and forced to adapt, as a result it grows together with plastic.
Another exciting topic is atmospheric pollution.

That’s why came the idea of depicting in the poster the process of every minute of the air pollution. With each movement of the hands on the clock tons of harmful emissions enter the atmosphere because of the repeated increase of enterprises, cars and deforestation.
And the theme of the final poster was the problem of non-compliance with traffic rules.
The idea included the image of the road, which is all covered with prints, where each new footage of the ignored road sign can bring not only a downed animal, but also death for the driver. Hence the idea to depict the track with tire prints and at the end of the road – the result of the driver's negligence – a downed animal.
