The Clueless Parade

The Clueless Parade

“Man alone suffers so deeply,
that he had to invent laughter.”
- Nietszche

This idea was built upon figments of knowledge and my pressing interest in the current Chinese social and political scene, and my place within it. As a New Zealand born Chinese student, I feel ever bound to this country, China, from which my blood stems from. Though I have rarely laid foot on its soil, I know I am still woven in its race. Seeing the ridiculousness and greed of corruption and the cluelessness of the Chinese citizens in a censored and dishonest society evokes a multitude of conflicted thoughts. Through this project, I explored my complicated and heterogeneous view of China, and its clueless parade of citizens.
