Spring Awards Round-up 2019
Owen was over the moon to have won several awards in 2019 for both personal and professional projects, from the likes of Graphis, the Art Director's Club and the Association of Illustration. A massive thank you to everybody who nominated, voted or was involved in creating these pieces. Here are some of our favourite winning projects!

Personal Project - AI38 Chosen Winner

Wonderful Print
Personal Project - Graphis Poster Annual Silver Award & ADC Typography Merit Winner
We were lucky enough to receive two awards for our Wonderful print from both the Graphis Poster Annual and the Art Director's Club Typography Award. The print features a selection of handcrafted letter forms and is printed with special gold foil details. This print is available to purchase from our shop here!
Grand Canyons
Time Out LA - ADC Illustration Merit Winner
We were delighted that our multi-layered topographic cover for Time Out Los Angeles was a Merit Winner in the Illustration category of the ADC Awards.
The artwork was created for Time Out's 'Grand Canyons' issue, focusing on the LA canyon region. Inspired by the headline and theme we created a multi-layered topographic artwork, using multiple layers of white paper raised at varying heights and shot with soft lighting, allowing the shadows to define the forms. Using a bold typeface he then cut the headline typography through the canyon layers, revealing layers of vibrant colour below.
Arcade Fire
Another Planet Entertainment - Graphis Poster Annual Gold Award Winner
We scored a hat-trick in the Graphis Poster Annual this year with a Silver, Honourable Mention and a Gold for this poster for Arcade Fire's concert at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley with Grizzly Bear.
Radiate Positivity
Bonnaroo Festival - Graphis Poster Annual Honourable Mention
Inspired by the festival's motto 'Radiate positivity' our colourful Bonnaroo festival poster constructed from layers of brightly coloured paper received an Honourable Mention in this year's Graphis Poster Annual. The print is still available to purchase from the Bonnaroo store.
