Northwell Health asked us to deliver print and banner ads that spoke about their philosophy of innovation and Veteran services. We came back to them with a process to create a true innovation for veterans. We found that while many prosthetics help amputees excel at specific activities, none simply allow them to both walk and swim naturally without changing limbs. So together with Northwell Health, we guided and supported a team of experts to create a ground-breaking amphibious device: The Fin. It’s now in it’s second round of clinical trials, has served as a multi-year source of free press (including the front page of the NYTimes Science & Technology section), got an Honorable Mention as Time Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2018, and became the focus of a 360 media campaign that included TV, a website, documentary, and some pretty good print and banner ads.
