WAY-FINDING SYSTEM
The brief required one to select a place that one thinks needs an facelift and create a brand identity, a set of environmental graphics that are impactful, useful and potentially unique and communicate necessary information to a specific target group in a persuasive and professional manner.
CONCEPT
The idea is derived from the African masks, but this mask is made out of shapes and dots which are relevant to native South African tribes. The shape of the masks is actually a finger print, creating a suggesting that one can become a sangoma but each sangoma is different from another because of different ancestral spirits (Zulu: amadlozi).
