Project Brief-
Topics about reproductive and menstrual health associated with shame in the Indian context and are rarely discussed in Indian households or schools. Such a dynamic brings in reduced awareness and mismanagement of reproductive hygiene. In the present scenario, where these topics are tabooed there is a need to empower the younger generation to know about their reproductive health and be confident enough to share problems/ experiences or doubts at least in your own circle.
This project intends to introduce a new framework- Mitra (a peer education network) and curriculum for stakeholders who share information about reproductive health and hygiene with adolescents.
