Sun & Cloud Camera
I was commissioned by a Tokyo based company, Powershovel and their studio Superheadz, to propose concepts, solutions and visuals of the finish design of one of their cameras named Sun & Cloud.
Sun & Cloud is the world's first self generating camera, that you can charge without plugging into electricity. This cube shaped Lo-Fi type of camera features a solar panel in the top-face, allowing it to charge the battery in the sunlight, as well as the charge crank on the side to charge it manually.
I proposed a few different color schemes, including custom details, such as detachable shutter buttons, as well as illustrations for the printable front face panel, and concepts of leather case for the camera.
