As a project for Anytime English (a new english learning school based in Mexico), IĀ was commissioned to make 5 illustrations inspired by some of the most important cities in Canada. The decision to make it about Canada was because concepts related to England and USA have been used too much among english learning schools in Mexico. Also Canada is perceived by most mexicans as a the nicest and friendliestĀ place among english speaking countries.
For the concept I wanted to make connections between of modern and traditional. This is why between the skylines we will be finding forests, wildlife andĀ indian heritage. Also, the useĀ of so many bears was because this animal is intended to become the school's mascot
These illustrations were printed in several sizes between 8 and 12 squared meters inside clasroom walls. Hope you like.
