IBM w3DS
At VSA Partners in NYC I was honored to be apart of the creation of w3DS, an internal IBM design system, basically, a user interface framework for the web made of code patterns and visual tools, so teams can quickly develop responsive sites and apps. Samples of what is possible with this system can be seen here and here.
As the senior designer on w3DS, IBM's internal design system, my responsibilities included; overseeing designers and implementing design op tools to manage our workflow, design of components and patterns, responsible for analyzing a need and delivering a method for a motion UI system tied to code and developing materials, using the system to push the limits of design, by creating innovative sample sites, and finally, to create presentation materials to help market our effort.
