Danieli Eis is the fourth enterprise of Giacomo and Augusta Lucchese, an Italian couple from the region around Venice. Since over 40 years they spent their summers working in Germany, delighting their costumers with freshly brewed coffees, delicious aperitifs from the Venetian tradition, accompanied by tasty little bites, as well as amazing ice cream made fresh each day from the most exquisite products, some locally sourced and all carefully selected.

 

This new café represents all what they stand for, excellent quality, fine taste, elegant and sophisticated surrounding. A place where you can come for breakfast, have a little bite for lunch, enjoy a refreshing ice cream in the summer heat, or simply for having an aperitif before heading out for dinner. A place for everyone that enjoy good taste and appreciate that little extra care that makes the difference.

 

The brief included the design of a modern and elegant logo that reflected the many years of experience, both in the full name version as well as a short version with just the initial. Alongside with the declination on business cards and the gift vouchers, came the design for the take away menu and seated menu.

 

The project was quite exciting because we got involved early stages, working on the interior design concept of the store, and liaising with the architects on the development of each piece of furniture. We had a large impact deciding upon the style of the place, especially colours, fabrics, spacing, lamps and spatial disposition of all interiors.

 

Furthermore, as an additional service, we organised, managed and delivered the opening party, providing photographic service and making a short movie of the event.
