... a personal interpretation

In this modern world are people scared to be themselves... are we ALL scared to express how we really think and truly feel?

Fear of offending, making mistakes and the never ending pursuit for unachievable perfection has resulted in artificial attitudes, counterfeit relationships and some spineless individuals that lets face it... need to get a backbone!

Topsy turvy, high contrast and differing viewpoints (it also works upside down). Vertical lines adjoin intentionally dysfunctional letters... bit like society the letters are not perfect, there are no grid systems in this design nor in life.
This project forms part of a series of type and image explorations titled.
These conceptual and visual experiments aim to discover boundaries and limitations of design, legibility and communication of a single, randomly generated word. What's the difference between communication and legibility, how far can words and letters be pushed without losing meaning, how hard will an audience work to understand a message? All questions I aim to explore in this ever fascinating, ever changing subject of graphic design.
