Reflection
The purpose of this project was to use our imagination to make a doll out of paper with three additional outfits. The doll has have a stand, three outfits and a downloadable PDF.

I did some research and found that there are some amazing paper dolls that have been created by other artists already. This was both encouraging and discouraging. I found it hard to come up with an idea that I was capable of doing with my current experience with the Pen tool. I thought of how first I just need to make the character, and everything else will stem from that.

I started by using shapes and the Pathfinder tool. Using a combination of squares, rectangles, and circles I managed to get the characters body finished. Afterwards, I decided to make clothes using the initial body frame and attributes. Creating the hands and applying them to the body was surprising difficult but worth doing. Now I have a better understanding of character creation using shapes, and my next project of this scope will be better defined because of it.

I learned more about shapes and the Pathfinder tool. I also learned different applications of the Pen tool along with shapes to get a product that I was aiming for. I found ways to maximize my efficiency using the Direct Selection tool, Selection tool, Pen tool, and shapes. I feel more comfortable in my application of the Pen tool as well as it is a very intricate tool and using it repeatedly has helped me feel better about using it in my art. This was a fun, rushed project and although my design is very minimal and simple I am happy with what I learned from this experience.
