From our rich heritage, sandy beaches, and beautiful seas, Egypt has it all. And while Egyptians love to travel, they don’t necessarily like to discover their own country. They tend to enjoy travelling abroad, ignoring Egypt’s wonderful spots. Egyptians don’t consider Egypt as part of their potential vacation spots. Some don’t know that there are a lot of places that they could visit in Egypt. What interested me about this revelation is that while Egypt has been declared as one of the top countries to visit in 2018, our own locals don’t appreciate the treasures and amazing places we have. I want to show Egyptians that Egypt is not as boring as it seems. They could also have much more fun here then they would have had abroad, and that traveling internally also counts as traveling. I personally believe Egypt has amazing spots to explore, but it needs the right awareness since not everyone knows about the beautiful locations Egypt has. Hence. I’ve developed a game that would encourage Egyptians to discover their own county with a great design contribution that would hopefully break this stereotype. The target group is Egyptians who have a passion for traveling and discovering new places.
This is a Gaming App where people can go on a scavenger hunt to find little icons,
and every icon represents a different unknown place in Egypt that they could travel too in Egypt. Using this App you are able to receive hints and updates on the location of the icons. You can save them and keep track of the icons you have found and receive information about the places the icons represent. Through the app you can book a trip. It is a New and fun way to advertise Egypt and all its beautiful hidden gems.
