THE PROJECT
Capshare needed to revamp their user-onboarding. We designed a custom experience to leave the client with an impression they are working with professionals on the leading edge of technology and feeling excited to work with them. Needless to say, the process also needed to be short and simple.
 
MY ROLE
As lead designer on the project, I worked with Capshare CEO and tech team to create a smooth transition and guide the new client to interact with the content as the sales team wished. We went through each phase of the process to ensure that the sign up for a new client would be not only painless, but enjoyable.
 
For the initial landing page, you will see that we highlighted one of the options. Because of this the new client is pulled to choose the “We Build It” option. The file uploading needed to be simple and robust. We moved from a singular button for each file to a file-drop style uploader.
Client quotes on each page reinforce the good decision to use Capshare for their cap table management. The payment area includes a receipt so that the client has a clear indicator of their payment. For the user interface we used material design for a no-fuss attitude.
Once the client finishes this process, they have a final up-sale option and a blog feed to keep the client looped in the Capshare site. Lastly, we provided a FAB for the client to chat with a representative at any time.
VISUAL APPEAL
Capshare also needed an update to their branding to better enhance the user experience. A blue base gives the new client a sense of trustworthiness and comfort. The orange highlights the out-of-the-box, forward-thinking tech company feel that Capshare wanted to achieve.
