OutWorlders, Inc.
When I first attended an OutWorlders event in 2016, I thought that a random guy opened his house to allow strangers to come over and play board games. Every month, the location would change, but it would always be at the same two or three houses. After a few months, I realized that OutWorlders was a nonprofit organization that focused on the LGBT community, and that game nights were just one of the events they hosted.

There was some talk about the group needing a new website and not making progress with the person who had initially volunteered to rewrite and redesign it. Having attended a few events and really appreciating what the group was doing, I volunteered to take over.

As time passed, my involvement in the group grew. I became the Internet Coordinator and then later the Vice President. After completing the website, I started to focus on other areas that I could apply my skills to, such as branding and event promotions.

Here's a sample of some my work:
Facebook Event Banners

In 2018, OutWorlders and the Fulton-Atlanta Public Library System partnered to offer a movie night on the fourth Friday of the month as an after-hours event. When promoting the events on Facebook, I quickly realized that showing two movie posters side-by-side wasn't engaging enough.

We saw a lot of success in terms of Facebook Post Engagement and I continued to produce graphics for other events or significant dates. Below is a sample of some of those event graphics.
