Portuguese Institute of Rheumatology
The Instituto Português de Reumatologia (Portuguese Institute of Rheumatology), the largest Rheumatology Unit of Portugal, is a Private Institution of Social Solidarity, dedicated to the study, research, prevention and treatment of rheumatic diseases since 1948.
For the development of the Instituto Português de Reumatologia rebranding proposal, the definition of rheumatology — the study of rheumatism, arthritis, and other disorders of the joints, muscles, and ligaments — was used as the process starting point.
To achieve the new logo It was created a simplified and iconographic human form, with the most representative joints and articulations. This synthesized representation can be animated and assume several movements and positions through the different brand applications and supports.
