The soul of India

Aatman is a Sanskrit word which means soul.

India is more than just a country. It is an ever-growing tree that encompasses a vast cultural and historical diversity. The roots that anchor this tree of heterogeneity are languages. Of all the discoveries that have occurred in the course of human history, language is the most significant one. Without language, civilisation would have never existed. What binds such a huge wonder called India together is not a person or a motif but an intangible sense of belonging that stems from a common tongue.

There are 22 major languages in India, written in 13 different scripts, with over 720 dialects. Sanskrit is the seed that roots all the other Indian languages. It is the soul of India’s heritage.
