Manto is a creative agency making films for a diverse range of clients, brands and products. Following a strategic repositioning and shift in focus to more creative client work, we were commissioned to help re-imagine the brand’s identity through this new lens.
This included brand strategy, identity, packaging, stationery and website to communicate Manto’s new direction and ambitions to work with more international and national brands in a creative capacity.

Designing the new identity focussed on the combination of key elements of light, shadow and movement; the cornerstones of Manto’s cinematography. This included an updated word mark and a brand symbol that is designed with light and shadow to create a 3D illusion and is animated online to add an extra layer of illusion and movement. The new website was designed and built to be accessible, playful and to show off Manto’s new, fast-paced filmography. It features a switchable light/ dark mode, transitions and simple structure to enhance visitor experience and to display the high quality work to best effect.

A full set of brand stationery was produced, including both light and dark cards on metallic-flecked stocks. This also included packaging design for video brochures to target high-level clients. Featuring a custom box with magnetic closure, spot varnish branding and messaging, these video brochures were sent out with custom video proposals and showreel to major new clients.
Sent out to coincide with the identity and website launch, the video brochures were the first representation of the new focus and offering from the innovative agency and tied together the elements of film, print and digital design to successfully draw in an impressive new client list.
