Descriptive Nouns.

 I pulled two words out of two opposite hats, and was given "feathered" and "skull".

I created two logos based upon music but different types of music.

I envisioned Feathered Skull as being a music company. This logo I decided it to be curvy and have a Native American feel to it. I felt it should have natural colors such as blue and tan, and that would in turn go further into the design of the store. I also include a type of hat for this skull. Headphones with feathers a hint over the skull.

For the second logo, I wanted to create it more up-scale, and classy. I decided to use more black shapes and that gave me the idea to incorporate a top hat. I found that if this logo was used it would be geared more towards classical instruments, such as the piano. And that idea lead me to the skull having piano key spaces for it's mouth.
