Who is the Fool? is a festival to give attention to the importance of the Dutch Theatre Institute. Due to budget cuts, the Institute had to make themselves be noticed and organised this festival. It's a small festival in the administrative center of our country, the city of The Hague. 
"Who is the fool? Playing with the power" shows how the role of the fool in time has changed, in theater and in every day life. Who's the Fool? tried to get a grip on the role that the fool plays. Three exhibitions, performances (on the street and in the theater) and debates were part of the festival. 

The identity consist of logo, animations, stationary, posters, flyers, banners, leaflets and website. We decided to limit the design to black and white, not only does it stand out in between all the cmyk imagery that you see on the street. It also symbolizes the cultural poverty that will grow stronger due to the budget cuts. To amplify this, we've given the Fool a sinister grin.
