Each year, the Navarra Txistorra contest is held in Pamplona. Txistorra is an artisanal sausage that is typical of this region in northern Spain. The most important Txistorra makers in the area are present at this contest and their products are judged by a panel of experts comprising gourmets, Michelin Star chefs and food technology specialists. Their task is to consider a series of product characteristics in order to decide on the best Txistorra. One of the points considered is the way in which the sausage is tied with string. An artisanal method must be used for tying the sausage and it is precisely this detail that we have taken to develop the image for the 2012 and 2013 Contest. This string is present in the image design and is used as a graphic element to separate the different reading levels for the poster, invitations, tickets and other items.
