Food Typography is basically using food to make words which represent the food.

Onam is a festival which originated in Kerala, South India. One of the things its known for is the Onam feast which comprises of various authentic food preparations, which is served on a banana leaf. In this photograph, i have tried to capture the essence of Onam by using staple elements like the banana leaf, rice, banana chips, bananas, various chutneys etc.

Swad (स्वाद)  translates to taste. Here i've used a few main spices used in Indian cooking which are used in almost any Indian recipe- Salt, Turmeric, Red chilli Powder and cumin seed powder. The composition has an earthen pot, some curry leaves and some mustard seeds since all these elements are taste enhancers.
