The Client
Greater DC Cares, a local nonprofit, sought graphic design services to produce a brochure to thank participants and sponsors of the 2010 annual Holiday of Service.
My Role
I worked pro bono to create a product that coordinated with brochures and materials from years past, but had a distinct look for the current year. My biggest challenges were to incorporate the ultra-feminine, fleshy-colored event logo and its Dakota Handwriting typeface in a visually pleasing and interesting way, and to adapt the layout to the ever-changing content and last-minute addition of sponsor advertisements.
