Home Page and Video Page User Experience and Design Enhancement
LearnLiberty.org, a project of George Mason University's Institute for Humane Studies, came to my agency looking for a short-term website design enhancement in preparation for a full-fledge redesign later in the year. On the whole, LearnLiberty wanted to make their website look more professional and to add some new functionality.

From the visual angle, we applied their brand colors in a more modern way, improved the visual grouping of their home page elements, and provided some design touches that give their website a feel of being thoughtfully crafted. From a functional standpoint, among other enhancements, we created a hero video area to allow users to watch more than one video instantly from the home page, added pagination options for the videos landing page, and added commenting options to individual video pages. Finally, from a UX perspective, we offered a range of improvements, including using a tab display on the home page to present featured videos for an assortment of topics, used a grid structure to more efficiently present videos on the landing page, and added interactive effects (including hover states and a drop-down menu).
