Last fall I spent 6 weeks in China for an art project together with two other comic artists. We were mainly in Nanjing, but also Beijing, Shanghai and Suzhou. Our job there was to go out, walk around, draw and find a story. I quickly became obsessed by this place by the river in Nanjing where people spent their free time. I chose two different approaches.
