Effective change leadership begins with awareness of team members on a personal level. Before embarking on a new course, take time to know personnel and listen actively to the insights they provide. Embracing a diverse range of opinions, assess individuals' strengths and weaknesses while setting upon a unified course that all team members can agree on. 

Once the project begins, make sure that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined, in ways that inter-connect with others. Seek out and provide feedback, with an aim of handling issues before they become major problems. Avoid “cookie cutter” approaches, while constantly evaluating performance and reallocating resources in ways that reflect refined mission goals. 

Through this inclusive and feedback-centered process, each employee feels motivated and valued, and loyalty and trust are built up in ways that maximize group potential.
