STAR SYSTEM
This is the result of a graphical experiment answering my late obsession with patterns, mathematical growth, parametric systems and fractal chaos (amongst others).

The idea was to create a design where, based in geometrical shapes (hexagons and triangles), form a pattern that seamlessly changes its structure. Kind of an islamic-type patterns seen in their architecture, or japanese patterns like asanoha.

Big heads up for the outstanding work of Alex Trochut and its #trochumetrics, a life-changing project that truly inspired this project, and surely more to come.

Cinema 4D + Illustrator + Photoshop
Although my first attempt was to create the pattern within C4D to maintain the parametrical nature of the project, I found myself lost in Xpresso and potential algorithms and effects that unfortunately didn't work for me.

So finally I created a good base on Cinema to export the main structure as an .dxf and bring the good old Illustrator in.
Once in Illustrator, I customised vector to vector, edge to edge and line to line, until get the desired seamless pattern.

Only at the end Photoshop came in to add the last details and final composition.

Thanks for the like, folks!
