Working in collaboration with local artists 5x5x5 creativity organised a series of workshops and community focused discussions around the Old Sarum housing development near Salisbury.
I was invited to lead a workshop to help people understand and express how they feel about their local community and think about how they might want their community to be like in the future. Using latest 3D software and my architectural training I offered an interactive workshop that has proved to be a positive step in enabling artists to connect with the needs of the community.
5x5x5 creativity employs different arts means to encourage people to explore and engage the community in conversation to establish exactly what they might want from the project. In working together with the community one can use experience to help neighbours to communicate better and look forward to a future together.
