Nomadic pastoralists
blend into the pursuit
of bloated craters
blend into the pursuit
of bloated craters
swilling sweet water.
Pastures rest on the
grassy dais of home.
Vanity bears no rigor
as the cloth is bared

on a featureless face.
Dragons pluck the
treasures but for drink
they wield a yawn.
Above a trove of clouds,

Above a trove of clouds,
migratory cranes
collide into headwinds.
A hardwiring sewn
into flight feathers
lifts them above a
herd of simple sheep.
Cruel pilgrimage
Cruel pilgrimage
when an untrodden
path snakes below
the magical visage.
