Sophie Merica Productions is a new production, film and editing studio owned by a young woman who's passion lies in telling Afrikan stories from grass roots levels. A company named after her close Zulu and Ndebele family members. In designing the logo I looked at female representations of Zulu and Ndebele woman in the media space in general. As a result I created a logo that romanticized the idea of being a young woman that embraces her past and present in the media today.
