Information systems have been used by Government of Tasikmalaya City to facilitate them in reporting. This system makes it easy for them to store, search, share and get the information they need.

Government of Tasikmalaya City has several systems that run independently, so they want to merge all these systems into one integrated system. Also, Government of Tasikmalaya City wants the system to be an open source system in order to be accessed by the Tasikmalaya citizen. This system allows the reporting can be done according to the operational standards that have been set. To achieve this, project called GIMS Tasikmalaya has been created.
