BACKYARD SAUVE
Renovation & Landscaping

The owners of this building were looking to fully enjoy their backyard that has never been used to his fully potential. Ultimate goal of this long term project is to create a little oasis filled with ecological and sustainable applications (permaculture garden, water collection, autonomous workshop with integrated green house,...).

The first step of this exciting project was to to establish a sense of intimacy in their fully opened garden with the creation of a wooden fence combined with a wooden pergola. Newly planted Kiwi trees and vines can grow on this permanent structure offering fruits and natural shadow through the nice season.
The owners also wanted to share the garden with the family of tenants living in the same building. The second step was to create a small wooden terrace completed with an elegant separation between the 2 living area offering generous light and intimacy to both families.
