"Dino Might" App Project

This was a team project in third year about promoting well being. My teammate and I focused on the well being of children who had moved homes, and so we designed "Dino Might!" an app that centers around kids exploring their nearby environment to discover collectible dinosaur stickers, which could be collected both in game and as physical stickers. The game would theoretically be made in cooperation with local councils and schools to encourage children to go out with their parents and get to know their local attractions.

The app itself was designed and illustrated by me, while all the dinosaur art was done by my teammate Grace.
The main loading screen featuring the games' logo.
A user journey of a child using the app to visit a nearby landmark. The bones indicate a landmark not visited yet, while the dinosaur art by my teammate shows they've been there before.
Once at the location they scan a QR code and unlock the sticker (drawn by my teammate) in game, which they can then print, or pick up a sticker physically at the location they are visiting. There are also alternate coloured versions that can be unlocked.
Some other features of the app, such as achievements for collecting more dinosaurs and friends who can trade dinosaurs with each other.
