4th Year Project for Illustration studio class. We were approached to create illustrations for a short play in a school journal, with the best design being chosen to be published. My illustrations were not chosen in the end, but it was still a good experience. The story was about a group of kids performing a very bad presentation about eating bugs.

These were my designs for the characters. It was important to make sure the cast was very diverse, given it was going into New Zealand's equally diverse primary schools. I also gave each of the characters an associated colour to make them more recognisable for kids. For the kids in the presenting group I also made their clothes bug themed.
