Winter is my favourite time of year, the delicate details and softer palettes really speak to me and can make the landscape come alive.

There's a certain magic to trees standing out in a minimalist snowy landscape, or branches covered in frost, picking up the low Winter sun.

This set of photographs are taken within the last few years around my local area in North Nottinghamshire, several are from a yearlong series looking at Sherwood Forest.
